  • Energy techniques are part of the field of complementary and alternative medicine, supported by a growing body of research. These approaches are mind-body based and work with the body’s subtle energy systems—such as the biofield, chakras, and meridians—to support emotional, physical, and energetic balance.

    One of the best-studied methods, tapping (also known as EFT or TFT), has shown strong results in helping calm the stress response, reduce anxiety, and improve emotional well-being. These techniques may also help release limiting beliefs, support the processing of past events, and enhance performance.

    Most energy techniques are gentle, non-invasive, and can empower clients with self-regulation tools. They also often lead to a deeper sense of integration—where thoughts, emotions, memories, spiritual awareness, and the body’s natural energy systems begin to flow in harmony.

  • Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy practice that originated in Japan. The word “Reiki” combines Rei (universal) and Ki (life force energy), and refers to the natural energetic flow that supports balance and well-being.

    It’s not massage, and it isn’t tied to any religion or belief system. Instead, Reiki works by using light touch—or hovering hands—to help harmonize the body’s energy systems.

    Reiki sessions may support physical relaxation, emotional release, mental clarity, and spiritual alignment. Many people describe feeling calmer, lighter, or more centered after a session.

  • The Bengston Method® is a research-backed energy healing technique developed by Dr. William Bengston, a self-described skeptic and professional researcher. For over 35 years, he has tested this method in university and medical lab settings—primarily with animals—to explore its effectiveness in healing physical illness.

    One of his most well-known studies involved mice injected with mammary cancer cells that went on to fully recover using his technique. In both animal and human studies, the Bengston Method has shown potential support for conditions like:

    • Cancer

    • Asthma

    • Digestive issues

    • Depression + anxiety

    • Eczema, allergies, and more

    This technique does not involve touch and can be done in-person or remotely. It’s gentle, non-invasive, and part of the field of Complementary and Alternative Medicine.

    ❓What’s the recommended approach?

    The Bengston Method works differently for everyone. Some people report noticeable shifts after just a few sessions, while others benefit from a longer arc of support.

    To begin, we’ll schedule a 4-session series, typically one session per week. You’ll be asked to share observations 48 hours after each session (physical, emotional, or energetic—whether subtle or strong). Based on your progress, we’ll decide together whether to continue.

    Dr. Bengston’s research suggests:

    • Mild cases may respond within 4–8 sessions

    • More complex issues may require 20–30 sessions

    • Frequency may vary between once or twice per week

    Ad-hoc sessions are available, but a short-term commitment is strongly encouraged to gauge effectiveness.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is an energy healing art with its roots in Japanese origin. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word (Rei) which means “universal” and (Ki) which means “vital life force energy”. Reiki is not affiliated with any particular religion or religious practice and it is not massage. It is described as a subtle and effective form of energy work believed to work not only on the physical level of the body but also the mental, emotional, and spiritual. Reiki uses guided life force energy to help reduce stress and balance the energy system. Reiki incorporates the use of the human hand as the tool for moving and harmonizing the body’s energies and fields.
